About the size, before you ask.
This pillow is 26 by 16 inches. A normal bed pillow is 26 by 20. Same length. Four inches less deep.
That is on purpose. When you sleep on your side, your head never touches the deep part. Filling it costs money and adds weight. It does nothing for you.
A normal pillowcase will go on. But it bunches up over the shape, and you will feel that under your ear. The knit cover it comes in is the case. It unzips and goes in the wash.
The difference is in the build.
You can buy a pillow with layers you pull out for half this. We know. We bought one.

What if even the lowest height is too tall for me?
Then this is not your pillow, and we would rather you knew now. With both inserts out it is 4.5 inches. It does not go lower.
Measure shoulder to ear first. If you come in under 4 inches, you need a thinner pillow than we make. We built three heights for 4 inches and up, shoulder to ear. That was a choice, not a mistake.
Will it fit my pillowcase?

Will it go flat?

Take the cover off and give it 24 hours flat. If it has not come up to full height by then, that is a fault, not a waiting game. We will replace it.
Can I wash it?
The cover, yes. Unzip it. Cold wash, then air dry.
The foam and the inserts, no. Memory foam does not survive a washing machine. Spot clean it and let it dry all the way before the cover goes back on.
